Trade boundaries and connected work
Scaffolds must be designed, erected, altered and inspected by competent people under an appropriate safe system. Customers and other trades must not move components or use an incomplete scaffold.
The trade using the scaffold should specify platform heights, loading and access needs. Roofing, solar, chimney and building programmes must coordinate inspections, adaptations and handover.
